In addition to illustration specialty, following are some design that were done by contribution as a marketing board member, as contest or as a participating artist.

Graphic design projects for institutions or non-profit brian swanson design Neon Museum logoThe Neon Museum logo I had the opportunity to design for a national call for entries, and was picked as the winner for the Neon Museum Las Vegas, and used on all of their branding. The logo represents the distinctive lines from the architecture of The Concha, designed by Paul Revere Williams. This establishment once resided on Las Vegas Blvd, next to the Riviera Hotel and Casino and is now refurbished and is used at the visitor’s center for the Neon Museum Boneyard.

This design also won a silver medal with the Las Vegas AIGA chapter, in the Work Show X. Congratulations to the Neon Museum of Las Vegas, celebrating their grand opening October 27th, 2012.

Project Imagine of Las Vegas, nevadaProject Imagine logo design past was inspired by vision that makes up children’s imaginations with the thought bubble and the “I”. This was a donation to their efforts and amazing creativity.

Project Imagine is a Las Vegas, Nevada Healing Arts program designed to help children undergoing cancer treatments in hospitals and clinics deal with the pain, anxiety, and feelings of isolation that can often accompany prolonged illness. By providing one-on-one and group art and music enrichment sessions, Project Imagine seeks to create an experience that will allow pediatric patients a chance to step outside their circumstances and explore their creativity.

Promotional post card design for the Contemporary Arts Center in Las Vegas. As the marketing design board member, the duties were to design all printed materials such as posters, invitations, installation vinyl wall lettering, post cards and web design. The CAC has a distinguished history in the 18B Arts District and the designs had to show creativity matching the caliber of shows and installations that they had in their gallery. In addition to revolving invited artists, an Annual Juried show was one of the biggest events attended, as well as the main fundraiser for the year.
